About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People and Culture to join our team at Purple Playground. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our people-first strategies, ensuring a positive and productive work environment, and driving business growth through effective talent management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape our innovative people-first strategies, ensuring alignment with our company vision and values
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives, including compliance management, performance systems, and organizational design
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing teams, ensuring seamless HR processes and effective communication across different work environments
  • Collaborate with founders, leaders, and international employees to ensure smooth communication and workflow
  • Manage audits, design effective organizational structures, and implement new initiatives to drive business growth
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of HR leadership experience, ideally in a global e-commerce scale-up environment
  • Proven track record in compliance management, performance systems, and organizational design
  • Experience in award interpretation and wage audits is essential
  • HR qualifications and WHS expertise are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with tools like Employment Hero, Slack, Xero, and Monday is preferred
