Job Title: Maternity Leave Administration Officer

">Job Description

The ideal candidate will be an experienced administration professional who can operate independently, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Be the key contact for the preschool, welcoming families and visitors.
  • Maintain and update preschool records via a digital platform and paper documentation.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the management of the preschool, including compliance, reporting and accountability.
  • Manage office equipment, stationery, filing systems, incoming/outgoing mail, fundraising events, business directory, newsletters and other preschool communications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend monthly staff meetings and take minutes.
  • Attend association meetings.
  • Assist with the planning of events, gifts and fundraisers throughout the year.
  • Assist in the enrolment and orientation process.
  • Support the director in daily tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience working in an administration role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under conflicting time pressures.
