KU Children's Services (KU) is a leading not for profit provider of around 130 early childhood education and care services in NSW, VIC and the ACT. Established in 1895, KU is one of Australia's most experienced and respected providers of long day care, preschool, outside school hours care, family programs and early intervention services. KU also operates brokered programs on behalf of the Commonwealth Government and provides professional services to the early childhood sector and the wider community.

**The Service**

Located in the heart of Pyrmont, KU Maybanke Preschool provides education and care for toddler and preschool aged children Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm all year round.

KU Maybanke have a focus on connecting children with nature by incorporating activities such as gardening, growing vegetables and fruits (which they then cook and eat) into their program. The service also has a worm-farm which uses compost from the vegetable garden.

**The Role**

This is an exciting p **ermanent part time **opportunity which will see you working **one day a week for 8 hours including a 30 minute unpaid break. Currently completed on a Tuesday however there is flexibility around which day.**

You will provide a range of administrative duties vital to the efficient operations of the service. In particular, you will be administering accounts payable, accounts receivable, fee processing and assisting the Director with a range of tasks including filing and record keeping, as well as being the friendly point of contact for families.

**_*Knowledge of Storypark Manage is highly desirable but not essential. _**

**To be successful in this position you will hold**:

- Experience in systems administration
- Proven financial experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Relationship-based communication skill
- Enjoy working in a team focused environment
- Be able to work independently
