Permanent full-time position to start 13th October 2025 .
Not-for-profit "exceeding" rated community preschool operating during school terms.Wages and conditions well above the award.We have a rare opportunity for the right person to take on the role of Director at our beautiful community preschool.We are seeking an experienced leader to guide our fabulous staff team into the future with inspiration and cohesion.The ideal applicant will be caring, friendly and passionate about high quality care and education.
You would need a University Early Childhood qualification, at least 3 years experience as a Director and the skills to take on the role.

We have 3 classes and children attend 2 or 3 days per week.Excellent reputation in the community and rated "Exceeding" the NQF in all 3 assessments.High educator to child ratios with generous programming times for all ECTs and educators.A friendly, professional and highly qualified staff team including 6 to 7 ECTs.A safe and welcoming environment that supports the inclusion of every child.Large beautiful outdoor environment where children can engage in adventurous play.Extensive modern buildings with excellent resources.Well above award wages and conditions.You would not be expected to attend during most of the school holidays apart from staff development days and to supervise any building works etc.Supportive management which values professional development.The RoleAs Director of the preschool, some of your responsibilites will include but are not limited to:Being responsible for the daily management and operations of the service.Ensuring that all compliance regulations are followed and a child safe environment is maintained.Working in partnership with the Administration Officer to oversea the financial management of the centre including wages and the budget.Collaborating with the Educational Leader to ensure an innovative and high quality educational program is provided in line with the ELYF and the preschool's philosophy.Mentoring, inspiring and influencing educators to engage in best practice through support, guidance and critical reflection discussions.Fostering an inclusive, engaging and nurturing environment where families, children, and staff feel connected and supported.Promoting a positive workplace culture where professional learning and continuous improvement are valued.Actively participating in meetings and preschool events which may occur outside working hours.Working closely with our Board of Managment (Approved Provider) and collaborate with them to make decisions in the best interests of children, staff and the preschool.Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification and NESA proficient Teacher Accreditation.A minimum of 3 years experience as a Director.
Supporting a service through the process of being awarded "exceeding" would be an advantage.Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.Current ACECQA approved Senior First Aid,Asthma and Anaphylaxis and Child Protection qualifications.Thorough working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF V2.0, Regulations, Child Protection laws and Child Safe Standards.Strong collaborative leadership abilities that display respect, dignity and direction.Passionate about implementing a high-quality, child focused and play based program for children and ensuring our philosophy is embedded in all preschool polciies, procedures and practices.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including competent computer skills.Ability to inspire and mentor educators to engage in ongoing professional development, continuous improvement and best practices.Financial management and administrative experience specific to an early childhood service.Enthusiastic with apositive, flexible approach to work and a professional manner.Dedication and commitment to going above and beyond to support the preschool.Strong organisational and time management skills.Work rights to enable you to work in Australia.More information:If you have the qualifications, skills, qualities and experience required for this position and would like more information please email (emailprotected) or call the preschool on 95297492 .
