Major Construction Supervisor Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Major Construction Supervisor to lead our construction team. This role is responsible for planning, supervising and coordinating major construction and maintenance works.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of construction professionals.
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee major construction and maintenance projects.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Water Industry or relevant trade qualifications.
  • Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Current NSW SafeWork First Aid Certificate.
  • Current National WHS Construction Card (SafeWork).
  • Asbestos Licence for removal of >10 sq meters.
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship or authority to work in Australia (visa).
  • Supervisory experience in construction management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
