Major Construction Project Lead

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead and manage our major construction projects within our water and wastewater infrastructure. This role involves planning, supervising, and overseeing the operations of our construction team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership position in our construction team. As a Major Construction Project Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of direct reports
  • Leading by example and exhibiting strong leadership behaviors
  • Providing advice and guidance on project planning, investigation, and execution
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service, environmental protection, and workplace safety
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operations of the construction team
  • Plan and execute major construction projects
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate IV in Water Industry or relevant trade qualifications
  • Class C Driver's Licence
  • Current NSW SafeWork First Aid Certificate
  • Current National WHS Construction Card (SafeWork)
  • Asbestos Licence for removal of >10 sq meters
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship or authority to work in Australia (visa)
