Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an HPC Production Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance computing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration and experience with parallel filesystems, batch systems, and high-performance network interconnects. Additionally, they should be proficient in at least one programming/scripting language and have extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complicated, interdependent, and distributed systems.

The role involves working collaboratively with team members to develop and improve systems and user documentation, participating in large-scale maintenance operations, and collaborating directly with researchers to optimize their use of HPC infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in high performance computing (HPC)
  • Extensive experience with Linux systems administration
  • High proficiency with at least one programming/scripting language
  • Experience with system configuration management tools
  • A compulsion to perform root cause analysis
