Workshop Operations Coordinator

The successful candidate will provide administrative support in the procurement of materials and services to enable the workshop and panel shop to effectively maintain the depot's bus fleet.
- Generating purchase requisitions for required materials and services
- Issuing approved purchase orders to relevant suppliers and service providers
- Coordinate inspections and maintenance of workshop plant and equipment to meet compliance requirements
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Assisting with the management of our fleet of vehicles
- Parts pricing inquiries
- Preparation of weekly reports
This role is responsible for ensuring that all logistical and administrative duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
About YouTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- Sound clerical experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- An understanding of procurement processes for materials and services
- An understanding of the workings of an automotive workshop and/or the bus industry/transport would be an advantage
- Good analytical/problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to plan, prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines
- Experience in ERP software such as Microsoft AX or SAP highly desirable.
