Claims Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled claims professional to manage all claims for a leading insurance provider.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of complex claims and recoveries. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex claims and recoveries as a result of accidents
- Preparing and sending routine correspondence and other documents using company templates
- Actively seeking to recover losses from liable third parties
- Assisting in the settlement negotiation process
- Representing the company as an advocate in legal and technical responses to insurers and individual third-party liability claims
- Investigating validity of third-party claims, quantifying losses, and negotiating compensation with third parties
- Data entry of incident reports and processing of other claims-related information (transport management system)
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to establish and maintain effective administrative processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an insurance claims officer highly regarded
- Superior communication skills, verbal and written, delivering excellent customer service both internally and externally
- Strong analytical and investigating skills
- Ability to adhere to comprehensive compliance standards
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Confidently liaising with other internal/external customers in a respectful and professional manner
- Strong willingness to learn
