The Property Claims Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic claims team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing property claims from end-to-end, working across a diverse portfolio that includes both intermediated and direct customers.

This challenging and rewarding role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure that claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately assess and manage property claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Handle claims efficiently within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively manage claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination.
  • Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism.
  • Manage incoming call enquiries, providing clear and timely support to customers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other sub-teams as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in property claims handling.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Experience working with external vendors such as repairers, assessors, and brokers.
