Strategic Industrial Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Industrial Relations Specialist to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing expert strategic industrial relations advice to government ministers, senior management and departments.
  • They will be responsible for facilitating resolution of public sector enterprise bargaining and industrial relations issues.
  • Our ideal candidate will possess strong relationships with public sector bargaining stakeholders, including government departments and agencies, the Fair Work Commission and public sector unions.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of industrial relations, including the Fair Work system and Victorian public sector industrial instruments. The successful candidate will also have experience in achieving strategic industrial relations outcomes within government policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate resolution of public sector enterprise bargaining and industrial relations issues.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in industrial relations, commerce or law.
  • Experience in enterprise bargaining, particularly in the public sector.
