About Our Team

We're seeking a skilled People & Culture Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering effective relationships.

This 11-month parental leave position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle, whilst making an immediate impact on our organisation's culture.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong organisational skills, and be able to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and key objectives. A proven ability to handle sensitive material with care is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for team member enquiries, triage & direct to the appropriate person.
  • Monitor, triage, and action the P&C inbox.
  • Manage Paid Parental Leave process & casual conversion process.
  • Ensure data integrity across HRIS.
  • Support annual performance and remuneration review responsibilities.
  • Review and administer employee contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly HR Metrics reporting.
  • Assist in various P&C projects and organisational culture initiatives.
  • Maintain an understanding and awareness of Awards, Industrial instruments, and Fair Work Australia legislation.
  • Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies & procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of People & Culture processes and systems.

About You:

  • You have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role & are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a relevant diploma or degree.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide variety of people across all levels of the organisation.
  • You're a people person, with proven ability to build and foster effective relationships.
  • Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and key objectives.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive material with care, maintaining confidentiality of P&C documents and other personal information.
  • Demonstrated experience using a range of software systems including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to easily acquire new IT skills as required; prior experience with a HRIS (such as IntelliHR) is highly advantageous.
