Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
About the Opportunity:This is an exciting chance for a skilled and experienced surgeon to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will work closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals, providing top-notch patient care, teaching, and supporting junior medical officers while contributing to hospital services development.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services as determined by clinical requirements.
- Attending rostered work hours and being available during on-call periods, including clinical handovers, supervision, teaching, and emergency care.
- Providing education and research opportunities as required.
- Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) or specialist registration with AHPRA.
- Recent and comprehensive experience in orthopaedic surgery, demonstrating expertise and medical knowledge.
- A scholar with ongoing professional development and the ability to assist colleagues, including trainees, in acquiring and developing medical knowledge.
