About the Opportunity:

As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will work closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals, providing top-notch patient care, teaching, and supporting junior medical officers while contributing to hospital services development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services as determined by clinical requirements.
  • Attending rostered work hours and being available during on-call periods, including clinical handovers, supervision, teaching, and emergency care.
  • Providing education and research opportunities as required.
Requirements:
  • Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) or specialist registration with AHPRA.
  • Recent and comprehensive experience in orthopaedic surgery, demonstrating expertise and medical knowledge.
  • A scholar with ongoing professional development and the ability to assist colleagues, including trainees, in acquiring and developing medical knowledge.
