Senior HR Professional

This is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to negotiate with stakeholders.

The role involves providing guidance and information, investigating grievances, and making recommendations based on applicable legislation and HR policies.

About the Job:
  • Location: Melbourne, Australia (flexible working options available)
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide support on complex ER issues and frameworks
  • Coach and support a team of HR professionals

The successful candidate will execute operational delivery of employee relations case management and investigation services, represent the organization in matters before the Fair Work Commission, and support the business with industrial disputes and issues outside of bargaining processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and support for team members
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other departments
  • Execute operational delivery of employee relations case management and investigation services

  • Analyse and deliver employee relations insights to drive strategic business decisions
  • Advise on legislative updates and changes
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in HR or ER (5+ years)
  • Sound knowledge of relevant ER legislation and application in policy
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Capacity to provide commercial and risk-managed HR/ER initiatives
  • Experience leading large teams in service delivery
  • Representation or advocacy at the Fair Work Commission
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, ER, Employment Law, or relevant field
