About the Position

This role involves overseeing daily culinary operations, managing menus, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume production and catering experience, with excellent communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Develop menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and creative flavor combinations
  • SOURCE local, sustainable, and organic ingredients for all meals
  • Manage cost controls and control expenditures on kitchen supplies and inventory
  • Purchase and manage inventory of high-quality ingredients
  • Enforce strict food quality standards in the kitchen and cafe space
  • Cater company events as needed and maintain a welcoming environment for employees
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a sous chef or in culinary management
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical activities including standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying
