Hotel Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a part-time Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our team, delivering exceptional guest experiences at every stage of their journey. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering genuine hospitality and a boutique experience to guests.
  • Covering occasional shifts as Front Office Supervisor.
  • Being an ambassador for the hotel, positively representing and promoting our brand.
  • Interacting with guests whenever possible.
  • Assisting with hosting events and getting to know our guests.
  • Ensuring a smooth check-in and out process using our PMS system.
  • Answering and processing reservation enquiries, making recommendations and upselling rooms according to availability.
  • Coordinating with other departments.
  • Answering and dispatching incoming calls.
  • Maintaining sufficient knowledge of room rates and packages.
  • Following up on all guest requests and complaints.
  • Supporting operational teams with administrative tasks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A desire to genuinely help people.
  • Excellent telephone technique and friendly customer relations skills.
  • Good time management and communication skills.
  • Well-developed computer knowledge and strong administrative skills.
  • A warm, personable yet professional disposition.
  • Front Office/reservation experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Valid RSA certification is required.
  • Barista/bar experience would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.
