Requirements:

While no specific qualifications are required, a formal degree or certificate qualification in accounting or information technology is highly regarded.

Essential skills include excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to listen and ask probing questions to understand customer concerns, and the ability to troubleshoot issues and determine resolutions to complex problems.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working in the accounting industry and/or help desk environment is desirable, as is familiarity with ATO tax lodgements and ASIC requirements for company registration and ongoing corporate requirements.

Knowledge of Australian trust and superannuation legislation and practice is also desirable.
