The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining positive workplace relations and ensuring the effective management of ER processes. Your key responsibilities will include acting as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment, and addressing and resolving employee concerns, disputes, and grievances.
This is a maternity leave fixed-term contract role offering a competitive salary package of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, disputes, and grievances in accordance with company policies and Australian labour laws.
- Develop, implement, and update HR guidelines aligned with company policies and procedures and reflecting legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Support HR in the implementation of performance management processes, including coaching managers on performance improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of ER cases and prepare regular reports for management on ER/IR trends, risks, and outcomes.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field, and proven experience in an ER role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry. You should also possess strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, industrial relations, and Fair Work regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
