Intake and Referral Specialist Role

This is a specialist role for an experienced Practitioner who will assist in the provision of high-quality intake, screening, and referral services within the counselling framework. The successful candidate will work with diverse families with complex needs, providing expert support and guidance.

The key duties of this role include managing incoming client referrals, assessing eligibility and suitability, and completing client intake and risk assessments as required. The successful candidate will also provide information and referrals to both internal and external programs, including counselling services for individuals, couples, children, and families.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Well-developed understanding of domestic and family violence, child protection, and family law
  • Demonstrated experience in intake, risk assessment, case management, and referral pathways
