Job Title: Intake and Referral Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client referrals, conducting thorough assessments for eligibility and suitability.
  • Complete comprehensive intake processes, initial needs assessments, risk evaluations as required, and develop safety plans accordingly.
  • Provide clients with essential information and refer them to internal and external programs, including counseling services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Science.
  • Proven understanding of domestic and family violence acts, child protection acts, and family law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in articulating a practice framework for domestic and family violence and child safety.
  • Experience in intake, risk assessment, case management, and crisis intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support diverse families with complex needs.
