Job Description:
As a Wealth and Corporate Analyst, you will provide actuarial, analytical, and technical support to the Investment Risk and Corporate Manager. You will be responsible for completing valuations and reporting, monitoring business insights, conducting bonus and crediting rates declarations, designing or assessing models and results, and providing support across various strategic projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Complete valuations and reporting: statutory policy liability, monthly profit reporting, value reporting, APRA reporting, and production of projected cash flows
- Monitor and report business insights on product experience and identify potential trends and issues
- Conduct bonus and crediting rates declarations
- Design or assess the reasonableness and suitability of models and results prepared
- Document improvement of processes, analysis, and investigations undertaken
- Provide support across various strategic projects impacting the Wealth business
- Provide support to the Pricing Actuaries, as needed
Requirements:
- Financial reporting and/or modelling experience, ideally in the life insurance industry
- Tertiary qualification in Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Finance, or related discipline
- Commencement of actuarial exams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Prophet
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex issues
- High attention to detail
