Internal Controls Manager Job Opportunity

The Internal Controls Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of internal controls across various corporate processes, including purchasing, IT, human resources, safety and security, logistics, and treasury. This role involves regular store audits, corporate process reviews, and communicating and deploying new group procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Regularly conduct store audits to ensure compliance with internal control frameworks
  • Review corporate processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate and deploy new group procedures and share best practices
  • Train operational teams on internal control policies and procedures
  • Participate in monitoring and assessing the risk of compliance in a multicultural environment

**Requirements for Success:**

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position in a multinational group or delivering similar services via Big 4 accounting firms
  • Relevant professional certification is beneficial (e.g., CIA)
  • Experience in risk advisory and the retail industry
  • Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks
  • Able to leverage data analytics to enhance and continuously improve control design and operating effectiveness
