Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality mental health care to older adults.

Our services focus on early intervention, holistic care, and empowering individuals and their families through evidence-based treatment and support.

About the Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver psychological and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions and consultation in order to address the needs of consumers who are living with complex mental health problems and disorders.

The role also participates in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assists in the development and provision of education and training programs. Additionally, the role supervises Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychological assessments, diagnoses, interventions and consultations to consumers with complex mental health problems and disorders.
  • Participate in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assist in the development and provision of education and training programs.
  • Supervise Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organisational needs.
Required Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
