Role Overview

Wavemaker is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director to lead our Social and Influencer Marketing team. As a key member of our Content and Partnerships department, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of social and influencer marketing strategies across our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social and influencer marketing strategies that align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with client teams to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert guidance on social and influencer marketing best practices
  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver outstanding influencer marketing results, including campaign planning, execution, and optimization
  • Work closely with media planners and buyers to integrate social and influencer marketing with traditional media channels
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities to innovate and improve our social and influencer marketing offerings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in social and influencer marketing, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including their capabilities and limitations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a focus on driving business growth and innovation
