About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our Human Resources functions, including recruitment, learning and development, work health and safety, advisory and consultancy services to management and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Human Resources function in the provision of a high level advice and consultancy service to management and staff.
  • Promote and build capability of managers and employees, including providing expert coaching, education and support on people and culture related matters.
  • Manage and provide support and advice on employment law and industrial relations, including consultation with industrial associations, dispute management, and other matters before industrial tribunals and bodies.
  • Lead a culture of safety and wellbeing by overseeing the management of the Work Health Safety function and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the Learning and Development function and ensure learning requirements are met with our organization and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Drive performance of workforce related Key Performance Indicators, including utilising workforce metrics and analysis of workforce data, and partner with senior management to develop and implement strategies to achieve performance improvement that align with strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources management or other related field.
  • Extensive experience in providing expert technical, specialised human resources advice and solutions at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing industrial relations matters and organisational change processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and experience in leading, managing and influencing both direct and indirect team members in providing a safe and quality working environment.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills that enable reporting on complex issues, sound decision making and timely responses.
