Project Support Specialist Role

This is a part-time opportunity working 21 hours per week, requiring flexibility to work Wednesdays, Fridays, and one other day.

The Project Support Specialist will provide project and administrative support services to the Asset team in complaint resolution to achieve organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume, complex environment
  • Answer enquiries within a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor and manage the group inbox, tracking correspondence such as Ombudsman enquiries
  • Identify serious and urgent complaints, escalating priorities
  • Investigate and facilitate resolution of complaints
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders, NSW Housing Tenants, maintenance vendors, and contractors
  • Engage with contractors to ensure maintenance jobs are completed
  • Prepare a wide range of maintenance reports
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Prepare a wide range of documentation, including meeting minutes, action logs, agendas, and presentation material
  • Record and database management, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and high integrity in accordance with standards and guidelines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated Project, Administration or Business Support experience
  • Asset Management or Public Sector experience highly desirable
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional, confident, and resilient with strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite and TRIM
  • Takes initiative, with a strong team and task focus
  • Reliable remote internet access with flexibility to work remotely from home
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
