An exciting opportunity for an organised, energetic, and friendly Receptionist/Secretary to join a well-known boutique law firm. Project Lawyers is currently seeking a highly diligent and experienced individual to join our firm.

We are a dynamic law firm specialising in commercial Law, commercial litigation, resumption and compulsory acquisitions, building and construction, planning and environmental law, and strata and property law.

Our refurbished office space is in a central and convenient location in the Sydney CBD.

Office hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm each day.

The Role

You should have strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to use initiative as part of a busy working environment, essentially you will be the go-to person in the office. We require someone who is enthusiastic and well verse with the Microsoft Office suite.

You will play a key role in overall client experience while managing the responsibilities of this position. Reporting to the Partners and Solicitors, you will be responsible for all receptionist duties.

Day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Answering and diverting calls

  • Meeting and greeting clients

  • Mail and delivery distribution

  • Preparing meeting rooms

  • General administration duties and office maintenance

  • Key point of contact for clients and key business activities

  • Provide office support for accounts and archiving

  • Coordinate marketing activities and events management

  • Responsible for executive diaries, bookkeeping, travel, file management and legal services

  • Engrossing letters and court documents, data management and formatting

  • Key point of contact for Project Lawyers clients, suppliers and key business activities

  • Provide office support for accounts and archiving

  • Coordinate marketing activities, events management and internal catering

  • Reporting IT & Telephone issues to IT manager

The successful candidate will have:

About You

Ideally you will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. You will have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, a passion for client service and maintain excellent service levels to our clients.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, great communicative skills, organisational skills and is driven to work with the firm to collectively achieve growth maximisation. Legal experience will be highly regarded but not necessary as legal training will be provided if necessary.
