Cash Control Officer

The RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Cash Control Officer to join our team at Mounties Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our control framework across all CCO operations in a confidential and accountable manner.
This role requires strong hands-on accounting skills, excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while being part of a close-knit team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including clearance reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and float balancing;
- Assist with the preparation of banking documents, including deposit and withdrawal records;
- Monitor cash handling procedures and identify areas for improvement;
- Collaborate with the CCO Manager to develop and implement new processes and procedures;
- Prepare reports and analyses to support business decisions;
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Clubline accounting software;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Possession of a current NSW Liquor and Gaming RSA and RCG competency card;
- Ability to travel when required;
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification;
- Relevant certification (e.g., CA, CPA).
