Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

This is a challenging role requiring a highly skilled and experienced health and safety professional. As part of our global team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a proactive approach to health and safety compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with national and international standards.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving workplace health and safety performance.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions for staff on health and safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of incident reports, audit findings, and compliance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a laboratory or industrial setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE programs and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
