Occupational Health Safety Specialist

This is a 6-month role within the Australian Federal Government, implementing an occupational health and safety management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing occupational health and safety management systems
  • Developing policies and procedures for occupational health and safety
  • Preparing reports, briefing papers, and discussion papers for senior staff and executives
  • Conducting risk assessments
  • Providing advice on complex areas of policy
  • Ensuring stakeholder engagement and staff consultation

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar occupational health and safety role
  • Immediate availability to start
  • Ability to perform the outlined role
  • Australian citizenship
