Work Health and Safety Coordinator

This is a role that requires a professional with exceptional skills in managing health and safety practices across various work environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and delivering effective health and safety training programs, as well as influencing managers and teams to adopt safe working practices.

In this role, you will play a key part in championing the implementation of safe systems and processes, and identifying trends and issues to develop strategies for improvement.

To be successful, you will require strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver health and safety training programs.
  • Implement and maintain safe systems and processes.
  • Identify and address health and safety trends and issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in health and safety coordination or management.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
