Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

This is a rare opportunity to lead occupational health and safety at one of Sydney's most iconic hospitals in a part-time capacity (three days per week).
You will be based onsite and work closely with executive and frontline teams to shape and support a proactive, preventative safety culture.
- Provide expert advice on occupational health and safety and injury management
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire response systems
- Deliver training and build capability across the site
- Review and update policies and procedures in line with legislation
- Support injury management and return-to-work planning
You will need:
- Qualifications in health or safety (e.g. Certificate IV or above in Occupational Health and Safety)
- Three plus years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field
- A tech-savvy approach – confident using Microsoft Office and digital platforms
- Strong communication, investigation, and coaching skills
