**Occupational Health and Safety Professional**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Health and Safety Professional to join our team.

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and supporting a team of professionals in the delivery of occupational health and safety services. This will include providing operational support, quality assurance and conducting requests for service, incident investigations, prevention and response programs of work.

The ideal candidate will have extensive demonstrated experience in WHS or Government Inspection, compliance or similar and holder of or eligible to be appointed as the holder of Inspector Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate, supervise and support a team of professionals in the delivery of occupational health and safety services;">
  • Provide operational support and quality assurance;">
  • Conduct requests for service, incident investigations, prevention and response programs of work;">
  • Support the community and people of NSW by identifying emerging issues and industry trends and supporting implementation of prevention and response programs of work that address both physical and psychosocial harms and hazards;">
  • Build and maintain effective and professional working relationships with customers and stakeholders to improve WHS outcomes;">
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members; and">
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, advisory services and forums.">

Essential Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • Diploma in Government (Workplace Inspection), or equivalent, or willingness to complete in the first 12 months the New Inspector Training Program (NITP);">
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in WHS or Government Inspection, compliance or similar and holder of or eligible to be appointed as the holder of Inspector Authority;">
  • Satisfactory criminal record check;">
  • Satisfactory medical assessment capacity in regard to physical and psychological impacts of the inherent duties of the role;">
  • Regular travel throughout NSW with the occasional Inter-state travel;">
  • Hold a NSW 'C' class drivers' license with a satisfactory safe driving record and a requirement to maintain the safe driving record throughout employment.">
