About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • SHEQ leadership and management, ensuring all work is conducted safely and meets compliance standards.
  • Oversee the scheduling, management, and monitoring of pole inspection and reinforcement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Manage a team of approximately 20-30 staff and subcontractors involved in the inspection, maintenance, and reinforcement of poles.
  • Control and manage the P&L for the business, driving operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a management role, ideally within the utilities, asset inspection, or pole reinforcement industries.
  • Strong understanding of power utility operations and pole asset management.
  • Effective team leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve business goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and staff.
  • Capability to operate autonomously, demonstrating initiative, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
