Reservations Team Lead

This role involves ensuring that procedures are followed in receiving, processing and confirming hotel reservations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support the reservations team, providing guidance and resolving queries.
  • Reservation Processing: Respond promptly to reservation requests, ensuring accurate recording in the system.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain the Opera Reservations system, updating rates, availability, and mail messages.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Verify regular client reservations for accuracy and quick check-ins.
  • Group Reservations: Manage group reservations, ensuring accuracy in rooming lists and special requests.
  • Communication: Ensure open communication between Front Office and Reservations teams.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete daily tasks such as filing, correspondence, and reporting.

A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is required. 3-5 years of experience in reservations or front office roles within the hotel industry is essential.

Additional qualifications include solid understanding of revenue management principles, excellent communication and customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and strong leadership and team management experience.
