">We are seeking an experienced Hotel Accountant for a fixed-term contract based in Darwin. This role supports critical financial operations, ensures compliance, and offers potential for long-term growth focusing on departmental performance and financial excellence.
">You must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Complete month-end and year-end closing journals and compile financial reports for management.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements and all related financial reports.
- Prepare quarterly GST submission and manage corporate tax compilation and submission.
- Supervise the finance team, recruit and develop staff, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and deliver staff training and manage team performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
">- Diploma in Accounting or Finance (minimum required)
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within hospitality/finance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting systems
- High attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
