We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our team in Darwin. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality results.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the Financial Controller and the Finance Department to oversee critical financial operations and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

This position offers the potential for professional growth and development, with opportunities to transition into long-term roles that focus on departmental performance and financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete month-end and year-end closing journals and compile comprehensive financial reports for senior management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements and all related financial reports, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting systems. A minimum Diploma in Accounting or Finance is required, as well as at least 2 years' experience in a similar role within hospitality/finance.
