We are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Manager who can motivate, mentor, and lead our team of nurses and care staff with compassion and integrity.
This pivotal position revolves around delivering high-quality, consumer-directed clinical care while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. By adopting this approach, we can empower our residents to reach their full potential.
Essential Qualities- A deep understanding of accreditation standards, infection control, AN-ACC, SIRS, manual handling, OHS, and nursing best practices is required.
- Effective leadership with a compassionate style and hands-on approach is essential for success.
- Excellent time management and communication skills are necessary for efficient collaboration within the team.
- The ability to identify and manage deteriorating residents and emergency situations is critical for ensuring the well-being of our residents.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Clinical/Care Manager (or equivalent) role within a similar-sized aged care facility in Australia is preferred.
- Registered Nurse qualifications and current registration with AHPRA are mandatory.
- A thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards is crucial for this role.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain upon appointment) is required.
- Strong computer literacy, with our systems being fully electronic, is expected.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety is necessary for maintaining a secure work environment.
This is a full-time position, typically working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. We value flexibility and teamwork to meet the evolving needs of our residents and staff.
