We are seeking a refined culinary professional to join our team as a Demi Chef in the iconic revolving restaurant at Wrest Point, Australia's first casino and a true icon of waterfront luxury and entertainment.
This landmark destination offers chefs the chance to work at the pinnacle of fine dining, crafting French-inspired cuisine with sweeping views of the River Derwent.
The à la carte and gueridon service menu reflects Tasmanian seasonal produce and is prepared using traditional and modern techniques.
As a full-time Demi Chef, you will support a dedicated kitchen, crafting elegant dishes with precision and flair under the guidance of senior chefs, contributing to the restaurant's reputation for exceptional fine dining.
To be successful in this role, you will bring at least 3 years' experience in a similar environment, a genuine passion for working with high-quality Tasmanian produce, a desire to create memorable customer experiences, and flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
