Contract and Compliance Specialist

Description:

Our organization is seeking a Contract and Compliance Specialist to support our business by drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts across various areas and regions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, they should have knowledge of compliance requirements for ASX-listed entities and exceptional skills in managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts for procurement, operations, and property leasing.
  • Supporting corporate transactions and commercial matters.
  • Identifying legal risks to the business and developing controls to mitigate those risks.
  • Managing the business's contracts management system (High Q).
  • Providing day-to-day generalist legal advice on various legal risk areas and business projects.
  • Assisting with regulatory investigations, disputes, and employment matters.
  • Maintaining the business's ASIC registers and lodging ASIC forms as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, preferably in-house.
  • Previous experience reviewing corporate transactions and commercial contracts.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledgeable about compliance requirements for ASX-listed entities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-management skills.
