Senior Contracts Specialist Role

This role is responsible for managing contracts and ensuring commercial compliance.

About the Job:
  • Contract administration and management, including client and supply chain compliance.
  • Managing contract packages, leading risk and opportunity processes, and administering downstream procurement functions.

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Contracts Specialist. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Law, Engineering, Construction Law, or equivalent and relevant experience in contract administration/commercial management/quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial representative for commercial and compliance management of Client Agreements and compliant contract administration upstream and downstream.
  • Manage, coordinate, and perform contract administration responsibilities for Telstra SFMDCC Project contract packages.
  • Lead and administer Risk & Opportunity process within contracts to create a 'no surprises' 'continuous improvement' culture leveraging commercial opportunities from pre-tender through to demobilisation.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of standard forms of subcontracts and mechanisms, contract law, flow throughs, and ability to negotiate terms within provided parameters and manage associated risks.
