Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, supporting compliance with relevant laws, preparing regulatory documentation, and assisting with the requirements of being a listed entity.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work closely with our Head of Legal and other senior leaders to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts across various areas, including procurement, operations, and property leasing
  • Supporting corporate transactions and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and operational contracts
  • Identifying legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Managing our contracts management system to ensure all contracts are approved and entered correctly
  • Providing day-to-day generalist legal advice on a variety of risk areas and business projects
  • Assisting with regulatory investigations, disputes, and employment matters
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years PAE experience, with in-house experience desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience reviewing corporate transactions and commercial contracts
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of ASX-listed entity compliance requirements
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
