Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and make recommendations on corporate development opportunities, considering strategic, valuation, and risk aspects.
  • Generate innovative solutions to achieve strategic objectives, such as new ventures, partnerships, or capital structuring solutions.
  • Coordinate transaction processes across various workstreams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure action plans are in place to deliver strategic and financial objectives.
  • Post-transaction reporting against original assumptions, targets, and commitments.
  • Manage external adviser appointments and use them effectively.
  • Represent Anglicare professionally and with integrity in commercial negotiations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of end-to-end M&A transaction experience is essential.
  • A qualification in accounting, legal, or finance, or other relevant fields, is required.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to independently build financial models, valuations, and debt structures.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship and communication skills.
  • Post-transaction implementation experience is preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of aged care is advantageous, but not necessary.
  • Commitment to Anglicare Sydney's mission and values, including a Christian faith, is expected.
