We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Lead to join our dynamic kitchen team at Somewhere @ Moseley.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play an integral role in creating and preparing high-quality dishes that showcase modern Australian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop menus that are varied, seasonal, and cost-effective.
  • Estimate food and labour costs for menu items and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Oversee the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with Managers and kitchen staff to discuss food preparation techniques and dietary requirements.
  • Prepare and cook food to order while maintaining exceptional food quality and adhering to food safety standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of recent experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and possess strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are also essential.
