Executive Culinary Leader

This role involves working as part of a dynamic kitchen team, supporting the Executive Chef and other senior culinary staff in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team during food preparation and service, maintaining effective communication and teamwork.
- Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to exacting standards, with attention to presentation, flavor, and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support for their professional growth and development.
- Promote a positive and inclusive kitchen culture, fostering open communication and collaboration among team members.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and manage kitchen supplies effectively, minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.
- Participate in menu development and costings, ensuring dishes are aligned with business objectives and customer preferences.
- Manage kitchen scheduling, stock ordering, and supplier communication, streamlining processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role, is also necessary. Proven experience in high-end restaurants or premium hotels is preferred.
