About this Role

Our People & Culture team is looking for a seasoned HR professional to join its fast-paced national operations in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work closely with the Victorian Regional Leadership team and report directly to the Group P&C Manager.

This role supports the continued growth of our business in Victoria, focusing on providing strategic advice to foster a positive workplace experience, drive organisational capability and performance, and ensure our purpose, vision, and values are lived and experienced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert day-to-day advice, coaching, recommendations, and solutions to leaders and employees to support an inclusive, diverse, engaged, and performing team
  • Partner with the business to ensure that talent is being optimally managed, ensuring they have or are developing appropriate workforce capability for the future
  • Provide guidance and coordination across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance review, talent, succession, remuneration, training, and development
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, induction, onboarding, and offboarding processes to ensure delivery of the workforce plan
  • Contribute to the research, development, and implementation of group-wide people and culture policies, processes, and projects to solve business issues and contribute to implementing the business and P&C strategies
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in human resources or a related field and experience in a service-oriented P&C BP role, ideally within professional services/consulting and/or construction environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team but to also resolve and take ownership of issues
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence
  • Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and needs while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality in a matrix organisation
  • Intermediate skills and knowledge of the MS Office suite and experience working across HRIS systems
