The ideal candidate will have a strong background in P&L management, budgeting, pricing strategies, and revenue generation, with experience leading multi-site teams and business expansions. They will be skilled in building, managing, and motivating cross-state teams, including recruitment, coaching, performance management, and change leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and deliver a business strategy that drives market expansion, product innovation, and alignment with broader objectives.
  • Revenue and Sales Growth: Lead pricing, sales, and occupancy strategies to meet revenue targets, including building partnerships and cross-selling services.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage P&L, budgets, and forecasts for all sites, identifying efficiencies to maintain strong margins.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day site operations, asset management, tenant fit-outs, and technology integration across Melbourne and Sydney.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture aligned with company values.
  • Marketing and Engagement: Drive marketing campaigns, brand presence, and tenant engagement initiatives to boost retention and community.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure all sites meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards while proactively managing operational risks.
  • Reporting and Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Growth and Innovation: Identify new revenue streams, site opportunities, and service innovations to enhance the offering.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification: In business, management, or a related field, with 5-7+ years in senior roles within coworking, hospitality, or property operations.
  • Commercial and Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop long-term business plans, analyze market trends, and balance day-to-day operations with future growth opportunities.
  • Leadership Experience: Skilled in building, managing, and motivating cross-state teams, including recruitment, coaching, performance management, and change leadership.
  • Operational Capability: Experience managing multi-site operations efficiently, with knowledge of tools such as Office RND and Xero.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Able to identify new opportunities, introduce fresh ideas, and adapt quickly to market or operational changes.
  • Communication and Relationship Skills: Excellent communicator, able to present strategies and results clearly, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and engage tenants at all levels.
  • Risk and Compliance Awareness: Proactive in identifying and mitigating operational, financial, and regulatory risks while maintaining business continuity.
