About the Role:

Nurse Unit Managers play a pivotal part in leading and guiding teams of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

They must be compassionate and adaptable leaders, committed to providing excellent patient care. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage busy Renal Units and a passion for helping both patients and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and supporting nursing staff
  • Maintaining the highest standard of patient care within the unit
  • Providing expert advice and direction on patient management and care

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate qualifications in management or speciality
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
