About the Role:
Nurse Unit Managers play a pivotal part in leading and guiding teams of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
They must be compassionate and adaptable leaders, committed to providing excellent patient care. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage busy Renal Units and a passion for helping both patients and colleagues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting nursing staff
- Maintaining the highest standard of patient care within the unit
- Providing expert advice and direction on patient management and care
Requirements:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualifications in management or speciality
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
