Construction Supervisor Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervisor to manage new build home projects and knock down rebuilds from start to finish.

The successful candidate will have a trade background, preferably in carpentry or bricklaying, and relevant building qualifications. They will also have experience in residential home construction and be able to understand and interpret construction drawings.

A key requirement for this role is the ability to manage day-to-day construction activities, ensure quality control, and maintain job site integrity. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a good attention to detail.

Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities
  • Ensure quality control
  • Manage sub-contractors and suppliers regularly
  • Conduct regular WHS site inspections
  • Proactively schedule and forecast work activities including trades and materials

Requirements:

  • Current driver's license
  • Relevant building qualifications
  • Trade background (carpentry or bricklaying)
  • Experience in residential home construction
  • Able to understand and interpret construction drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
