Construction Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of residential construction projects, including smart homes and renovations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning of residential construction projects by setting clear objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans to determine the most effective and compliant construction methodologies.
  • Prepare competitive tender submissions and contract proposals, ensuring accurate cost estimates and timelines.
  • Manage the allocation and utilization of labour, subcontractors, plant, materials, and equipment across multiple concurrent sites.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, certifiers, engineers, and other key personnel to maintain alignment across all project phases.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of proven experience in construction project management, preferably within residential or architectural housing sectors.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, WHS legislation, and local council approval processes.
